The GrittiSpose Atelier
The GrittiSpose Story
An unstoppable story, created.... with needle and thread
GrittiSpose is a brand of the MyStyle srl company, founded in 1996, in the tenacious, keen and hardworking area of Northeastern Italy. Since then, the company has continued to grow, becoming even more established on the national scene. In 2010, Michele Gritti was appointed to head the artistic and style management. This young designer has clear ideas and guided by his passion and by solid objectives, he has continued to fly the flag for this “historical Italian brand”, consolidating the successes achieved to date. And it was in 2016, twenty years from the founding of GrittiSpose, that Michele Gritti decided to renew the brand’s style and image. At Sì Sposaitalia 2016, Michele Gritti had this to say: “We wanted to move away from our past identity, but we also wanted to take our core values - artisan quality and professionalism - to make our company stand out even better”. The new style of GrittiSpose is rich, sophisticated and designed for discerning brides who want to feel like queens on their special day.
GrittiSpose is sartorial craftsmanship
In its Atelier, the Italian touch is what creates a symphony
The ceaseless rhythm of the sewing machines and the warm blast of the iron are key elements inside Atelier GrittiSpose. Passion and experience move the hands of the dressmakers, who move to create ethereal symphonies. Michele Gritti is the composer, the conductor of these harmonious creations. Every GrittiSpose gown is entirely made in Italy. The excellence of Made in Italy, which in this case, is also Made in the Northeast, is an essential part of what makes these top quality wedding dresses. And quality is something GrittiSpose cannot do without. From the imagination of the designer, through to the expert hands of the dressmaker, every gown takes shape in Italy. The sartorial expertise is palpable in the two workshops directed by the style office in Udine. Many of the prestigious materials chosen by the designer are made in Italy: lace, silk, mikado, jacquard and precious embroidered details.
Michele Gritti, designer
His creativity and passion are to be found in the embroidered details on GrittiSpose bridal gowns
A half-finished sketch. A child running among the tables covered in patterns. A carefree environment, where the sketch falls to be picked up by the child, who picks it up and studies it. He sits down, picks up a pencil and starts to draw what looks like a train and the outline of a veil. But something else is missing... a car, of course! To get to the groom, right? This is the start of Michele Gritti’s artistic career. He grew up amongst wedding gowns, discovering a passion for dressmaking that grew day by day. The idea of being able to give space to his creativity and the satisfaction of creating dresses for the most important day of someone’s life are what encouraged him to become a designer and to enthusiastically create wedding gowns, collection by collection. Today, Michele Gritti is the man behind the culture for excellence that allows GrittiSpose to stand above the rest; this translates as the sophisticated taste and high class that can be found in fashion’s great maisons.
